Kenneth's life was a testament to kindness, generosity, and unwavering support for his family and community. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jeanette R. Gross, who he married on June 20, 1958, in Washington, D.C., and who remained his faithful partner through many joys and trials for 67 years. Kenneth also mourned the loss of his twin sister, Catherine Bowman, and four brothers: John, Lawrence, Joseph, and Anthony. Their absence left a void in his heart, reminding him of the strong familial ties that shaped his life. Kenneth is survived by his devoted daughter, Janice N. Gross, who carries forward his legacy of love and compassion.

He was a proud member of the Army Military Reserve, participating in Summer Camp in 1958, a commitment that reflected his dedication to service. Kenneth's education began in the public schools of Washington, D.C., where he laid the foundation for a life of learning and growth. His remarkable career included a position at the Smithsonian Institute for over 25 years, where he worked as a Transportation Supervisor, and later at the Melvin J. Berman Hebrew Academy in Rockville, MD for over 20 years, where he continued to ensure the safe transport of school children. He built strong relationships with the students and their parents, known for his punctuality and willingness to wait patiently for late arrivals. Kenneth's kindness and reliability made him a beloved figure in the community, and many considered him a father figure.

Outside of his professional life, Kenneth had a passion for the simple joys of life. He took great pride in his yard, meticulously landscaping and growing fruits and vegetables, sharing the bounty with family and friends. Cooking was another cherished hobby, where he expressed his love through the dishes he prepared, often bringing people together over a shared meal. His love for reality television, particularly "The Bachelor," provided him with lighthearted enjoyment and laughter.

Kenneth was known for his neat and casual style, always presenting himself with care. He was a man who believed in the importance of helping others, never hesitating to lend a hand or provide a ride to those in need. His punctuality and readiness to assist earned him the admiration and respect of all who knew him.
